Application of the MOORA Method in Determining the Daily Management Board of the Mosque Development Committee

The election of the Daily Management Board (BPH) such as the Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer is an important element in the management of the construction of the Muhammadiyah Taqwa Mosque in Batam Kota District. However, these elections often face challenges related to objectivity and the limitations of clear criteria. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (SPK) based on the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method to facilitate a more effective and transparent selection process. The MOORA method is used to optimize various selection criteria such as leadership experience, managerial ability, commitment, personal integrity, and communication skills. The results of the study show that the MOORA-based SPK is able to provide accurate evaluation results and objective ranking of management candidates, in accordance with the weight of the criteria set with the results, namely alternative A4 as Chairman with a preference value of 0.461, alternative A5 as Secretary with a preference value of 0.436, and alternative A1 as Treasurer with a preference value of 0.401. The implementation of this system is expected to increase efficiency and accountability in the selection of BPH, and can be adapted by similar organizations in other environments.
